Edward J. (Eddie) Brown III is Vice President of the Prescription Drug Card division of The Word & Brown Companies and has been with the organization since 2004.

The Word & Brown Companies offer two prescription drug discount cards: the California Rx Card and Nevada Drug Card. Both cards deliver savings of up to 75% on prescription drugs at more than 56,000 pharmacies nationwide, including CVS, Rite Aid, and Walgreens.

Under Eddie’s leadership, distribution of the no-cost cards has expanded significantly. Together, since their launch in 2007 and 2008, the cards have saved residents more than $548 million on brand name and generic prescription drugs, including those not covered by health insurance.

Eddie is a graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in Public Administration.
